DiZigns Spring 2020 lines
Spring is here and new bags are being made!
This is DiZigns new line for 2020 called the Candy Colors Collection. Small, bright and fun, these bags are made simply and inexpensively. They can be the gift themselves, or because of their price, they very affordably can have a gift put in them (and no wrapping paper to discard or recycle, although I love wrapping gifts).
This 5”W x 6.5”L size is great to put individually wrapped colorful candies inside. It is like 2 gifts in one because after the candy is eaten, the bag is left to use for another special collection or item(s).
The linings have been pulled out to accent how varied and colorful these bags are. This photo is side 1.
This photo is side 2 with all the bags turned over. In most cases all 4 pieces, outsides and linings, are all different.
Backpacks seem pretty popular lately and I had a few new ideas for some styles. Below are some backpacks I have made in the past, around 2016, when I was first making bags and trying ideas.
This Dutch-like embroidered design was embellished with beads and the straps were a green weave.
I loved this heavily embroidered and kind-of crazy design for a backpack and it had a twisted cord strap.
As per my usual way, some of these past backpacks have different fabrics for each side and lining.
This smaller one had great fall colors and a two-color twisted cord for straps.
This tiger/zebra design backpack is a nice large size with strong, thick fabric choices and beautiful braided leather straps. The other side has a sort-of native american style design.

The new line of backpacks includes the drawstring bag’s basic/simple design, some with lesser expensive cording and fabric, and then some with upgraded cording and thicker/higher-end fabric and/or embellishments.

The above backpack shows this wonderful fabric which is like a thick suede.

The backpacks below are a little larger with thicker fabric and/or embellishments. The first one has a beautiful weave-like fabric on side 1; the soft, plush feel of the fabric on side 2; the twisted cording in a deep blue color for the straps; and a soft, pretty, complimentary lining.

This elegant backpack below has a bead fringe embellishment and would be stunning for a special occasion……perhaps a wedding!

I also made some shoulder/hand-held/crossbody bags.

This bag can be hand-held or hung on the shoulder as well. All 4 fabrics are high quality with a soft touch.

I used the same type fabric for the above shoulder/crossbody bag, the backpack shown earlier and the bag below.
These similar bags show how the same fabric does well in different applications.
The bag below has the same cording as the above bag and the fabrics are thick and soft on the outside and the inside.

I also decided to embellish the bags from 2019 that were not sold. Most of the time, a bag embellished with beads, trim or tassels will sell pretty quickly, but I still make some basic bags because there are a lot of different buyers preferences.

This bag has the look of thick, cushy comfort and the addition of the beaded tassels only makes it more appealing.

This bag has the most beautiful teal color and is so thick and lush to the touch. The addition of the black band of trim and the black twisted cording shows a nice contrast.

This bag has a brown and tan tiger/zebra design that is a canvas-like fabric, and a lining that has a brown and a rust side of a textured suede. A very casual bag that I added some funky tassel fringe to dress it up a bit.

I also made another addition to the DiZigns Travel Tote line. Anyone for some salmon color? The fabric that I chose was so distinctly salmon that they had to go together. Side one has a raised furry design and side two has an intricate, natural design. The fun mixed fringe matches so well and just finishes the look.
