Veteran's Park Free Thursday Night Concerts - August 4
Diane Zevos
The final free Thursday Night concert went off without a hitch or glitch, with the weather making for the most beautiful night of all. The performances were fabulous and entertaining and pleased a large variety of musical tastes. I was so excited to have family visitors, and the youth enjoyed the music of Jordan Levesque as well as Rockspring, which reminded all of us of my band, Lichen's, acoustic instrumentation and me playing the banjo.
As it has been the case at these shows, a lot of people were interested in my wares and with a few sales and distributing brochures and business cards, it was another success.
A mom purchased one of these navy velvet bags, which are so soft and plush. Her daughter had a collection in her old bag and just yesterday it broke, so she thought this would be a great replacement. I agree!
There was interest in my new $10 summer, bright and flowery bags, but no sales. I will be listing them on Etsy and of course, at the Saturday free concert shows of August 6 and August 20, they will be available for purchase (if any left).
I also donated a prize of this summer tote filled with beach items adorned with an osage orange heart. Hope the winner likes it and gets a lot of use, it fits a lot of items.
There are other great events happening at Veteran's Park with Intown Manchester to check out on their website, but for the final 2 concerts, I have put the posters below. It's such a fun time for all ages at these events and what could be better to come to downtown Manchester and comfortably sit around a lovely park and enjoy some pleasant, beautiful, and sometimes rockin' music for free. Hope to see you!
